Ocean Escapes is a NZ owned and operated company in association with TRVLR™.

At Ocean Escapes, we’ve joined TRVLR™ to embrace a new era of transparency in the travel industry. TRVLR™ is a 100% New Zealand-owned independent travel agency network, created to combat market consolidation, price gouging, and offshore profit.

We believe in TRVLR™’s mission to empower its members with equitable commission distribution and incentives. With TRVLR™’s exceptional cloud-based technology, support team, and access to a wide range of travel products, we can now operate 30% more efficiently from anywhere. Together, we’re set to deliver industry-leading turnaround times, great client support and curb the need to increase costs to our clients.

TRVLR™ is a shareholder of World Travellers, and through this relationship we are TAANZ Bonded, so you can be assured your funds are held securely.

Directors Debbie Christian & Ric Wright are self-confessed cruise addicts and love to share the experience of cruising with their customers.

The Ocean Escapes team

Located in the sunny north of Ruakaka, Debbie Christian has been a travel agent in NZ for over 25 years and is well known in travel and cruise industry circles. She has previously worked for major travel brands in a variety of roles, most recently Cruise Product and Marketing Manager for a large cruise travel agency. Debbie is always looking for unusual itineraries and dream holidays. While we are located in Ruakaka, we can look after all clients located throughout New Zealand. If you are local, we are happy to meet you for a coffee and discuss your travel plans!

Ric Wright has owned his own businesses for many years and is the admin, finance and operations director of Ocean Escapes. He would happily sail the world if he could.
