This small group tour is limited to a minimum of just 10 travellers.   This is not an escorted tour as such, you will have a rental car to buzz around and explore, but included are many various tours and sights, dinners, and a whole lot of foodie things!

Monday 21 February 2022
Depart Auckland for Norfolk Island with Air Chathams at 10.30am, arrival at 12.15pm on Norfolk Island, local time. Flight will include a light refreshment onboard.
You will be met on arrival by Baunti Tours and taken to your accommodation at The Paradise Hotel & Resort for checkin, and where your rental car will be available.
The afternoon is free for you to get acquaintedwith the island.
This evening, enjoy a 2 course dinner at HILLI RESTAURANT, which is located adjacent to The Paradise Hotel, so you can choose to take a short drive OR you may prefer to walk. A main course and dessert is included, with a choice of 3 for each course, and a beer, wine or soda is also included.
Hilli Restaurant is adjacent to the Guava Gallery and the FLETCHER’S MUTINY CYCLORAMA – a stunning 360O panoramic painting on the inside of a cylindrical building, that surrounds you with impressive & realistic artwork, and many storyboards will bring the history of the Bounty mutiny to life – an amazing experience with the ‘wow’ factor. Your
entry to Cyclorama is included for you to visit at your leisure, at any time during your stay. We recommend you do this when you have 30 minutes to an hour to spare, and you may like to combine it with a Devonshire Tea at Hilli’s or an alfresco lunch on the same day. Cyclorama is open 7 days a week, over various hours.

Tuesday 22 February 2022
9.00am DISCOVER OUR WORLD TOUR – 2.5 hours
This tour provides a quick orientation of the island, with local guides, who will introduce you to the beauty and diversity of your island paradise. If you are wanting to book any extra OPTIONAL tours, at the end of your tour this morning, this is the time to do it, so you know you won’t miss out!

1.00pm TASTE OF NORFOLK TOUR – 3 hours
First up, a visit to a local beekeeper’s home where you will view flow hives & learn about the local honeybees and their flight paths. Next stop will be a beef & dairy farm – learn about supplying
milk for local cheese & fresh milk for the marketplace. Lastly a cooking demonstration using a yorlor stone, which came from Pitcairn in 1856 and enjoy creating green banana fritters with local honey.

6.00pm PROGRESSIVE DINNER – 3 hours
Get a taste of the real Norfolk lifestyle. Baunti Tours Progressive Dinner takes you to lovely Island homes for a 3 course dinner. Relax & enjoy home-cooked food, bursting with goodness of fresh island produce. Chat with fellow diners,soak up the stories of your island hosts.

Wednesday 23 February 2022:
This morning is free time, so you may like to explore town and visit the shops & cafes. Most of the shops close this afternoon (an old tradition), so if there is anything you want or need, this morning is the time to do that.

1.00pm HILLI GOAT – THE NORFOLK WHEY – 2 hours
You will need to Self Drive in your rental car to Hilli Goat Farm, located at Anson Bay, to arrive by 1.00pm. You will learn the history of the family farm and Goat business. Take a short stroll and interact with the goats. Join in on the milking, then see the cheese making process.  Afterwards, enjoy a lunch at the family home, with beautiful ocean & valley views. A table overflowing with organic, fresh, colourful, flavoursome, seasonal food, that is sure to wow! Including a cheese tasting of astronomical proportions & a glass of complimentary wine. Come hungry!
A fabulous shop is located on the farm premises with some fantastic Norfolk Island made pottery, which would make lovely souvenirs to bring home for loved one’s OR for you as a memento of your Norfolk Island visit.

After your lunch today, we have left this evening free as you may not want to indulge in too big a meal this evening. Many options are available from your Hotel’s own restaurant, to a variety of local clubs and restaurants (but we do suggest you make a booking in the morning or you may find it hard to get a table)

Thursday 24 February 2022
7.15am BREAKFAST BUSH WALK – 2.5 hours
An early start with your walk will take you through diverse habitats from rain forest to clifftops, between enormous pines and white-woods & surrounded by seabirds. There are 3 walk / non walk options to suit everyone’s fitness level. The topography is hilly, but the pace is relaxed and the guides cater to a range of fitness levels. Be rewarded at the end of your walk with a delicious BBQ breakfast with all the trimmings.

The rest of your day is free to do as you wish.

Tonight self drive to this delightful restaurant, which is set in a 1930’s Island home on the western side of the Island, adjacent to the 100 Acre Forest and the 100 Acre Farm. Enjoy a 3 course dinner.

Friday 25 February 2022:
9.00am GARDENER’S DELIGHT TOUR – 3 hours
This personalised tour will see you experience a market garden complete with a flower garden and orchard. A secluded old island home surrounded by the most amazing gardens, that are irrigated by a hand dug well which was dug in the convict era. The next stop is a labour of love garden which is inspirational. You will also visit the picturesque gardens with amazing views. Morning tea will be served at a scenic location.

1.00pm TWO CHIMNEYS WINERY – 2 hours
Self Drive to the Winery located at Steeles Point. The Cellar Door is closed exclusively for our group – for a personalised Food & Wine Luncheon.
You will receive:
• Welcome & Introductory Talk
• Degustation Luncheon – a formal wine tasting from a Premium wine range, accompanied with matching luncheon delights (a collection of Noelene’s homemade delicacies, including fresh produce from hergarden)
• To finish a complimentary glass of wine or Tea/Coffee,with a Sweet treat

Your evening is free for dinner arrangements. The Local Pub or CastawayHotels Brewery and Woodfired Pizza could be an option to enjoy.

Saturday 26 February 2022:
This morning enjoy visiting the FARMERS MARKETS, located in the centre of Burnt Pine town, which you can drive to, or take an early morning stroll.
Your Day is free for self exploration, shopping in the morning, or just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful scenic location.
Please note that many shops do not open on Saturday afternoons.(another old tradition)

5.00pm BAUNTI FISH FRY – 3 hours
A special Island Fish Feast. Perched on the cliff-top you will have an eagle-eyed view of a tiny crescent-shaped beach and the magnificent spread of ocean stretching to the far horizon. Enjoy scrumptious fresh, local fish which is prepared the local way and accompanied with a range of seasonal island dishes. Making the most of home grown produce, and enjoying paddock to plate
freshness. Entertainment with very talented Tahitian style dancers.  Cash Bar available.

Sunday 27 February 2022: YOUR LAST DAY IN PARADISE!
This morning Island markets are held in town, so if you would like another market experience, head on out! Good souvenir shopping at the weekly Island markets held at the Bicentennial complex, offering a selection of arts & crafts.

1.00pm Self Drive to Forrester Court for a very special HIGH TEA experience.
Nestled on the cliff edge overlooking Cascade Bay with views to Bird and Elephant Rock and beyond to the South Pacific Ocean, your High Tea Luncheon is totally self indulgent.
A glass of bubbles, followed by a selection of 9 savoury and sweet temptations, a pot of tea or coffee and finish with a sampling of locally distilled liqueurs

To complete your afternoon, a table has been booked at the Sunset Bar located at Anson Bay – what a totally stunning location.
Live entertainment, alfresco dining of platters, bistro food and a relaxed environment.  This is a pay your own way experience.

If you prefer not to drive to this location, as you plan on a few celebration drinks to farewell Norfolk Island, the Sunset Bar can arrange for you to be picked up from the Paradise Hotel and taken to Anson Bay, to participate and enjoy the Sunday afternoon festivities. A Norfolk Island ‘Uber’ equivalent, can be arranged to pick you up and return you to your Hotel, when you are
ready to go home

Monday 28 February 2022: FAREWELL
Today you have to say ‘farewell’ to the island.
11.00am Final check in time at Norfolk Island airport.
You can leave your rental car at the Paradise Hotel (remember to refill the tank with fuel) and Baunti Tours will transfer you to the airport.
1.00pm Departure time from Norfolk Island, arriving in Auckland 4.45pm
