PurePods are designed to ensure you experience nature’s show vividly, utilising all your senses whilst remaining sheltered in luxury. The effect is incredible. The stress of life disappears, the wonder at nature’s power and subtlety reconnects us with our special someone.
The privacy, the isolation of a tiny glass hut completely surrounded by nature – the sky, the hills, the sea, the birds, the bush – takes you to another world.
Each PurePod is located up to 1km from where you will park your car. Your carpark is secure, so be sure to bring an overnight bag for your stay each night, as you can leave bulky items in the car. Only when you book will you find out exactly how to get to your Purepod, its that secret!
Being so remote, you are sure to have some questions, so here are some FAQ’s:
How private is it?
All PurePods are on private land and remote enough that you can be assured privacy – just you and that special someone you are with. There are blinds on all windows and the ceiling – use them as you see fit. No one will see you in the bathroom, which by the way, all bathrooms have proper flushing toilets and glorious showers.
How are the temperatures with all that glass?
PurePods use the highest quality toughened, double and triple-glazed glass. Extra heat is provided by hidden radiators in the bedroom and bathroom. The heating and the hot water are heated using a combination of solar power and a gas boiler. You will find your PurePod luxuriously comfortable.
There is no air conditioning but a range of natures cooling devices (blinds, ceiling shades, sliding doors, open windows etc). On the hottest days we recommend pulling across the ceiling blind to add additional shade – the roof above the deck has also been designed to add shade.
Do we bring our own food? What are the cooking facilities?
We have included the Dinner and Breakfast package which will be waiting for you on arrival, but of course you are welcome to bring whatever you wish. There is a gas cooktop in the kitchen and a BBQ on the deck, and basics such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper plus utensils are all provided. Don’t forget your wine or favourite tipple!
There is a USB outlet and a bluetooth speaker (BYO music) only. There is no WiFi or TV. This is about unplugging and trying your hand with our star map and telescope in each PurePod, plus books and games are available.
How many people can a PurePod sleep? Can I bring the kids, the dog?
Maximum occupancy is strictly 2 adults only. Due to location, children are not permitted, and dogs, of any size, are not permitted as the PurePods are mostly on working farms.
